Here we are in the Indian Ocean in the Pacific, we are on the other side!
So much for solidarity with the people Jap. in Thailand we know well what the nature can be tremendous at times.
The part of the Gulf of Thailand, Samui island to name the best known so far no problem, and I do not think any will be considered that the Gulf is sheltered from the Pacific Ocean.
Of course if there are problems I will let you know ...

Doppisensi (real or alleged)

VF: "A man should be judged for his actions"
MB: "But to find out their intentions, even for his writings"
VF: 'Again Free will discuss "
With this depressing curtain opens the spot of Libero, introduced by Maurizio Belpietro in a suit and tie and a tanned Vittorio Felt like a schoolboy, to promote the diaries of Mussolini, a present from 1 March with the newspaper owned by the Angelucci family. But this time the ad conveys the idea of \u200b\u200bsomething more than nostalgia of "real or supposed" style Dell'Utri. In the last scene of the spot, in fact, appear as Traditionally, the product being advertised (in this case the diaries) and a copy of the rolled-up newspaper. On the first page framed, hangs the title: "Go away all - if not enough of this policy." Random? Maybe, but the fact is that exhortation populist alongside the writings of Mussolini is quite disturbing. Already in the writings of Futurism (which is largely inspired fascism) is easy to find attacks fuzzy thinking liberal, democratic and socialist. In 1904, for example, an analysis was catastrophic Papini in Italy, blamed the political class, accused of not being unable to pull the country towards Most advanced and affirm a vision of aristocratic and elitist. View of parliamentary democracy shared by D'Annunzio, and especially by Mussolini himself, who as early as 1915, in an article entitled "Down the Parliament", attacked the deputies neutralist, calling them "cowards", "charlatans", to be delivered "Courts of war." And again: "As for me, - Mussolini writes - I'm more firmly convinced that the health of Italy should be shot, I shot in the back, a few dozen members to life imprisonment and send at least a couple of former ministers. Not only that, but I believe, with faith sempre più profonda, che il Parlamento in Italia sia il bubbone pestifero che avvelena il sangue della Nazione. Occorre estirparlo”. Le citazioni a tal proposito si sprecano. A questo punto, la domanda è: Belpietro e Feltri – sì, proprio il Feltri che conserva gelosamente nel suo ufficio un busto del duce – con queste campagne e abbinamenti forse non casuali, dove volete arrivare?

Scoliosis Treatment More Condition_symptoms

Embassy in Bangkok The Thai license

5 hours to die, cost € 4, a rejection of the middle: a morning at Bangkok's Motors reveals a small mirror in Thailand

For six months I drive a scooter in Bangkok, and do so with the simple Italian driving license I had never caused problems, even in the frequent checks (or raids - one day I'll write this too) of the police. When I heard about the ability to easily switch to the license in Thailand, behind a simple eye exam and a few quick practice, I thought it was worth it. In fact, since my license was not international, in the end I had to make the whole rigmarole of visual examination of theoretical and practical. Better: it's been a learning experience and, in his small, very "thai".

The fact that practically the only foreigner in the bustling building of Motor Vehicles, and Thai chewing enough to make me understand, I was probably facilitated the task. In five hours I was holding the coveted license, despite the unexpected "incident" path to flunk the quiz theoretical, with only 20 correct answers out of 30. Like every trumpet, I apologize: I was excited, some questions were illogical, images on the computer of the station were scanned from a book of terrible quality. In fact, 21 years after my first time on a motorbike and a career with two and four wheels without major incident, I was very embarrassed to make the figure of the ass and having to resubmit a month.

In precedenza, le prove di riconoscimento dei colori e di reazione in braking phase were somewhat similar to those used by us - if you count the special emphasis, almost militaristic, with which the aspiring licensed (and, too, fit for use) to say aloud the name of the color shown examiner with the wand. The practical exam was finally a no brainer, on a circuit closed to traffic: a small path curves to them, a crossing on a narrow, elevated low of around one minute in the circuit of the examination, giving due regard to signals and the due precedence. In all, they witnessed two stray dogs that roamed along the way - who knows if they have added on purpose to simulate the typical environment of the street of Bangkok.

"It 's time to forget everything I learned this morning, and return to ride like a Thai, I wrote about Twitter fresh license. An Englishman who has been following me sarcastically replied: "Or as an Italian ... 've never been to Naples? ". Touché: The next time a friend gives me a madman at the helm to venture into the jungle of Bangkok, I'll have an argument anymore.

554 Sorry, Message Looks Like Spam Or Phish

Zeru ministers

Non essendo possibile, ai sensi di regolamento, l’assenza al completo del governo, to go sit Renato Brunetta (up to one second before "absentee") and an undersecretary of health. But, although the two are not very taken by the debate (Brunetta, as usual, is framed in his scarf wrapped devoted to the use of mobile phones), patience is short and, just before the Di Pietro (coincidence?) places the government appear empty again. Fini suspend the sitting, while Di Pietro trembling arms out to speak during a quick exchange of words with tobacco. The meeting resumed with the arrival of Laura pidiellina Ravetto (aka Miss Blackberry), but, like unruly children in school, does not seem very willing to sit down and is called Fini: "Mr Ravetto, please refrain from phone calls and sitting down. Mr Ravetto, you represent the government. The session can not start if the government representative is not seated. And please report to the Minister for Relations with Parliament, which is unprecedented what's happening today. " The Ravetto, with doing very uncaring, chuckling, while Di Pietro began his speech: "I understand that when one speaks of Italy of Values \u200b\u200bthe government did not want to hear, but at least one, to pretend that we listen, we must feel. " One yes, but not the Ravetto, which explodes and goes, becoming replaced by a colleague Under Secretary. Chi, senza alcuna ragione valida, arriva later than the beginning of work, suffered a cut of payroll in relation to the delay. It 'really so utopian?

Contrary to what many think, Thailand remains conservative in terms of sex. Among many contradictions and hypocrisies
One of the most erroneous stereotypes about Thailand is that it is a kind of brothel in heaven or to garden Additional in which to practice free love. If you goes beyond the red-light districts, it turns out in reality a country very soon conse rvatore in terms of sex and full of contradictions and hypocrisies that a recent wave moralizing applied to the cinema - with a movie trailer innocent censored and even banned - has brought to the surface.

course: the Walking Street in Pattaya, Patpong and Nana in Bangkok, Patong in Phuket are dens of iniquity, where throngs of foreigners pay to have sex with girls (and boys) often from the countryside. Less visible but more widespread is prostitution in Thailand for the benefit of mankind - the "karaoke bar," the " en tertainment complex" and the massage rooms where everyone knows what's on offer.

The first contradiction is that prostitution is prohibited by law, which prohibits even the sex shops, in fact, many of the most popular structures are controlled by the army and police top brass, who also derive huge profits through kickbacks. (The current Minister of Commerce - among others - is the daughter of the owner of the largest "entertainment complex" of Bangkok). The other is that, although entire villages live in substance with the money that they send home to their daughters' work in the city, the prostitutes are viewed badly by the rest of society, particularly from middle and upper classes in Bangkok ( then maybe you leave their arms in the evening).

With the world of the forbidden hypocritically confined in his compound, the Thai company remains conservative in relationships. Kissing in public is taboo, and also see couples walking hand in hand is rare. Virginity before marriage is - at least in theory - a respected value, even if it is common practice among young people also have different stories to a contemporary relationship. Recently, a statistical put Thailand in second place worldwide for single mothers between 15 and 19 years, including the total absence of sex education and parental reluctance to touch the topic.

Figuratevi la sorte toccata allora a “ Insects in the backyard (Insects in the backyard), an independent film which contained explicit scenes of sex between men, child prostitutes and meditate to kill the father transsexual. The director - who wanted to highlight the hypocrisies of homosexuality in Thailand and to reflect their prejudices - pointed to limited output, with a ban for children under 20 years, the National Film Board has instead put on the Index, by banning the dissemination in Thailand tout court, as "contrary to morality".

In television, the contradictions are even more absurd. In the Thai soap opera there may be bloody images violence, but a love scene between two characters is only hinted: music and soft lighting, languid eyes, he and she might rest on the bed and then ... stop. Two seconds later you might have already covered. Do not be troubled public decency, it is understood, the problem is that it arrives on time then the scene where the man beats the woman on the bed against his will, subduing it to suit its desires. Usually ends up, to repair the rape, the woman becomes the partner of the rapist or is forced to make us business. Amazing Thailand.

Discoloration Lips Dog

The people of delirium

There is now no longer need to print so-called Bolshevik red or ghostly robes: the most damage to Berlusconi do the same members of the PDL, with statements and behavior at the edge of the surreal. On Feb. 9, hosted by Lilly Gruber Otto e Mezzo, Fabrizio Cicchitto , enrollment P2 card No. 2232, wondering about Ruby (& friends) gate, said: "I do not think this is a case of prostitution but varied friendships. "
Cos’è quindi quel "Letters" used by Biancifiore? An oversight or a Freudian slip? But the show most unworthy of all the offered Ignazio La Russa at the Teatro dal Verme, who has seen fit to respond to requests for Corrado Formigli Annozero journalist, rather than with words, with the kicks. Not satisfied, he then turned around and said the truth, as children do in grade school who accuse the companions to avoid the punishment, which he had kicking Formigli was then made to identify the police. In short, when faced with legitimate questions, the waiter Ignatius responds with the beatings. Moreover, as Miguel de Unamuno said, what Fascism hates above all else, is intelligence. "

What Are Gallbladder Polyps

Love is taboo in Thailand Thailand and Cambodia are on the brink of war for a Hindu place of worship 900 years old. The ancient temple of Preah Vihear

not shoot more than a few days or , but do not delude ourselves that it's over here. Between Thailand and Cambodia, said yesterday the Prime Minister Hun Sen cambodian, "now it's war." All because of a Hindu temple over 900 years old and fought for decades. Almost three years of military skirmishes have caused at least 20 dead - but the suspicion is widespread that even five times. Those last weekend (3 and 5 Thai Cambodian deaths) are, however, were the most violent clashes, and space for diplomacy seems to be reduced even more.

Innanzitutto per il pasticcio di non aver mai attribuito con certainty surrounding area 4.6 km square, with an entrance much easier than that from the Thai Cambodian. And why can appeal to the nationalists in Thailand joke that combined the French in the early twentieth century, tracing the border between the kingdom of Siam and French Indochina: the line coincided with the watershed on the hills, except for widening to encompass the Preah Vihear from the French side. The problem for the Thais is that they did not say anything for over forty years.

Since 2008, when UNESCO declared the temple a World Heritage Site, Thai nationalists are obsessed on this issue. They talk about "loss of territory National, pull out maps of one hundred years ago. Now, after the latest fighting, openly inciting to invade Cambodia, take the temples of Angkor Wat Phnom Penh and then forced to surrender in exchange for the Preah Vihear. E 'political fiction, and the nationalists in the square for two weeks before the government headquarters in Bangkok are never more than two thousand. But make no noise, and given that many see in their protests of 2008, the "dirty work" that contributed to the fall of two governments disliked the military establishment-monarchy should not be underestimated. Even if now the government is theoretically Abhisit Vejjajiva closer to their positions, attack him mercilessly on charges of being weak question.

analysis of "why now?" Would require another piece on the Thai domestic politics. Behind this attitude there is still a sense of superiority and nationalism, rooted in decades, the result of a propaganda based on a reinterpretation of history in favor of the establishment, and by Cambodia, the resentment of being treated like poor peasants, and private glory of the Khmer Empire.

Thais - especially the elite Sino-Thai in Bangkok - they feel better than the Cambodians, who have darker skin, strange animist beliefs mixed with their Buddhism, and are far behind economically: "They must have ran out of bullets, "he said laughing a driver to the Thai border commenting on the calm after the riots, referring to the Cambodian soldiers. Above all, see Cambodia as a former province the kingdom of Siam (which ended around on Laos and Cambodia of today) and even before the legendary "Suvarnabhumi" ("golden land") - a kind of Tropical Eden never existed in terms of how they describe it here. Thus, a typical architecture of ancient Hindu Khmer Empire - when the Thais for how we understand them today were not yet fallen on the region from China - becomes "Thai heritage" in the eyes of the nationalists.

Oggi la Thailandia si è anche opposta a una visita al tempio da parte dell'Unesco: “Complicherebbe the situation, "they said - and it may be true, but for them.

So, hope that the two sides get down to the negotiating table at the moment is very low. The Preah Vihear there are two truths, two boundaries drawn on maps in different ways available to the two contenders. Even if the crisis falls and the weapons are silent, the issue will simply be brushed aside, not resolved. An attitude - that of putting the dust under the mattress, instead of cleaning - common in these parts, the problem is that so, the dust accumulates. Sooner or later it comes out, and it is even worse.

Did Myammee Got Breast Implants

the center of contention between Cambodia & Thailand.

Subject of a dispute the area (about 4.6 km ²) where there is the 'ancient temple Preah Vihear . This dates from the eleventh century, the empire Jemer, and in 2008 was declared "World Heritage" by UNESCO.

Despite the ruling of the International Court of Justice , based in The Hague, dates back to 1962 and state and territory once part of the territory cambodian, now Thailand refuses to acknowledge this situation.

cambodian prime minister, Hun Sen , in a televised statement addressed the Security Council United Nations, to take the necessary measures to put an end to the aggression in Thailand. Obviously of a different mold statements homolog in Bangkok, which charges the responsibility entirely to the Cambodian troops and the belief that purely bilateral, judges do not require the interference of the UN.

of the day today is the announcement of the Marty Natalegawa, Indonesia's foreign minister and currently president of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), which will be the first visit to Phnom Penh Bangkon and then, with the intention of seeking a diplomatic solution tra i due paesi.

The "yellow shirts" have vowed to intensify protests ... Yellow

THAILANDIA - Le ‘camicie yellow 'Thai have vowed to intensify protests if the government does not react Bangkok sentenced to eight years' imprisonment imposed by a Cambodian court to two leaders of the movement arrested in a disputed border zone between the two countries. "The government has three days to respond to our requests, including the return of two convicts," said the spokesman of the movement, Parnthep Pourpongpan. one week, hundreds of yellow shirts are camped around the government buildings, accused of being too soft in its territorial dispute with Phnom Penh , and prepare a big demonstration for Saturday. Last week, the movement had led to over 30 thousand street, with a promise to show to the bitter end if their demands were not met by the prime minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva once their ally.

Tuesday nationalist activist, Veera Somkwamkid and his secretary, Ratree Pipattanapaib were convicted of illegal entry into Cambodia . Together with five other companions, including a parliamentarian, were arrested in December during an inspection near the site on which stands the temple of Preah Vihear . Dating from the eleventh century AD, temple, dedicated to the god Shiva , is considered one of the masterpieces of Khmer. In 1962, a ruling by the International Court of Justice gave the place of worship to Cambodia. A choice never fully accepted by Bangkok that given the time one of the treasures of their cultural tradition and agitated the subject of sovereignty on the area to fuel nationalist sentiment. By decision of UNESCO in July 2008 to declare Preah Vihear World Heritage Site, the dispute between the two countries deepened, and came close several times in the last armed confrontation three years

Conservatives and loyal to the monarchy yellow, meeting the people in the Alliance for Democracy (PAD), were the leaders of the demonstrations that created the conditions for the coup against former premier Thaksin Shinawatra, ousted in 2006 and now in exile to escape a corruption trial. In the fall two years ago the decision of the cambodian prime minister, Hun Sen, to name Thaksin's economic adviser led to a diplomatic crisis between Bangkok and Phnom Penh, returning when the former Thai prime minister resigned from office, ostensibly to personal reasons.

Lorraine Historical Events

Ruby, the neo-moralist

-
It has been a colossal flop, the appearance of Karima El Mahroug, aka Heartbreaker Ruby, the nightclub Paradiso Rimini Saturday, January 29, 2011. Except a handful of curious accounting on the fingers of one hand, the Moroccan at the center of the scandal involving Berlusconi was greeted with indifference and insults, both inside and outside the room. After arriving an hour late and a half and have remained for about an hour to get bored sitting on a bench Ruby has gone ignored by journalists and a scene on the other hand: the 20,000 € asked, seems to be able to obtain less than 5,000. Sharing in the fool even the disco, which, after protests from students, and citizenship, has sold fewer than 200 tickets, seeing more than half the usual collections. But the real news is in the frames captured in a service "on air" on La7, where Ruby, on the sidelines watching all the girls began to dance on the cube, opens her eyes and said, "Poor Italy". I mean, after all what he did, the girl discovers a moralist. Strange, usually turns out that's all.

Preah Vihear: "Yellow Shirts" against the Thai government, on the border issue weak

Nationalists and pad to the streets, threatening a permanent garrison. The protesters called for the withdrawal of the Memorandum of Understanding with Cambodia and the release of seven people on trial in Phnom Penh. Cartels raise provocative military exercises and the tension between the two countries.

Bangkok (AsiaNews) - At least 5 thousand supporters of People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) and the Thai Patriots Network march along with the "yellow shirts" to protest against the government headed by Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva, congested traffic around the seat of government. At the center the clash, the border issue between Cambodia and Thailand around the temple of Preah Vihear and the trial of seven Thai nationals, accused by Phnom Penh for "illegal entry". A group of leaders of the PAD has placed 60 toilets and 60 mobile toilets in the area, threatening to organize a permanent garrison until the executive will not meet the demands of protesters.
The "yellow shirts" ask the government: withdraw the Memorandum of Understanding signed with Cambodia in 2000, indicating the lack of agreement on the borders; terminate the membership of the Committee for the UNESCO World Heritage Site, expel Cambodian living along the borders, in areas at the center of the dispute. Meanwhile, multiply the criticism of the government, accused of "surrender its sovereignty" because it allows you to Phnom Penh to prosecute thai seven entered the country illegally in Cambodia 29 December 2010. Sondhi Limthongkul, PAD leader, said that "if Thaksin Shinawatra was the most clever among the premier, Abhisit Vejjajiva is the biggest liar."
to inflame the dispute between Cambodia and Thailand has also helped the firm move from Phnom Penh last month in the area of \u200b\u200bPreah Vihear. Taking advantage of the retreat of Thai, Cambodians have planted a poster with the inscription: "In questo punto! Questo è il posto in cui le truppe thai hanno invaso il territorio cambogiano il 15 luglio 2008”. Nei giorni scorsi questo primo cartello è stato sostituito da un secondo, più semplice e immediato: “In questo punto! Qui siamo in Cambogia”. Abhisit spiega che il governo di Phnom Penh avrebbe già rimosso anche questo secondo manifesto, giudicandolo “un buon segnale” verso la collaborazione.
Il gen. Thawatchai Samutrasakorn, responsabile dell’area, afferma che “né Cambogia né Thailandia possono posare pietre o costruire abitazioni fino a che la controversia non sarà risolta”. Il gen. Prawitra Wongsuwan, Ministro Thai defense, called for calm "so you can solve all the problems" and adds: "mutual understanding is the most important." Meanwhile Abhisit has authorized a series of military exercises in the area near the temple of Preah Vihear, an anonymous military source, quoted by Bangkok Post , reports that "were the military leaders to propose exercises.
The border dispute between Bangkok and Phnom Penh has been ongoing since 1962, when the International Court gives control of the ruins to Cambodia in the Hindu temple of Preah Vihear. The area where the temple stands is cambodian territory considered, but is surrounded by steep cliffs covered with jungle that Thailand considers his own. In addition to the morphology of the territory the site is impossible to achieve through Cambodia.
After years of negotiations, the dispute was rekindled in 2008 when UNESCO decided to transform the temple into a world heritage site, requiring that Bangkok can be accessed through its borders. In recent years there have been several clashes between the two armies deployed near the site. The last was in April 2009 and has cost the lives of four Thai soldiers.

Ocular Migraine Five Days

marine parks for the "whitening" corals.

The news:

Bangkok, January 21 (TMNews) - Corals of the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand are suffering from a serious process of bleaching due to rising water temperatures (which kills the algae that determines the color) caused by the weather phenomenon El Nino and the excessive growth of human activities near the barriers.
Thailand with her 3 thousand miles of coastline and numerous islands is one of the preferred destinations for diving enthusiasts.
According to a study published in October by a group of Australian researchers corals of the south-east Asia and Indian Ocean are dying en masse, the worst victims of mortality phenomenon in the last 10 years caused by heating of the water.

What is said between the industry:

yesterday after learning of the dramatic decision to close the marine parks have called various stakeholders, the response was unanimous Diving for hours as usual!
The environment minister said he wanted to quit, but in dance there are thousands of jobs and millions and millions of baht, บาท, ฿, who compensates the different company? The state Thai can be closed with an emergency decree, but then must come up with a lot of money!
Conclusion? For now it goes on as before, and possibly after meetings this weekend will come to you decision to close only in LOW SEASSON.
For those who do not be afraid to walk around the Similan and Phi Phi and then does not change anything, because the ban is only for those who dive! According to them who does not touch the coral snorkeling but remains flush with water to observe. The fault of the evil that touch all different, supporting the fins on corals, etc. ... In short, they did not understand a c @ ZZO as always! The problem is global sea temperature is above 30 ° corals die and that's that! Thus it was 10years ago, the Maldives, Thailand now, slowly the whole Indian Ocean.
moral of the story to the Maldives after 10years is all dead and then UTOPIA PURE believe that in 5-10 years all return as before, corals that have hundreds of years can not reproduce so quickly! The temperature drops, until the sea "bubbles" there is little to do ... We should all begin to change habits in our small, less air conditioning, less cars, less pollution, less ... UTOPIA! Rassegnamoci to see the skeleton of corals and tell our children how good it was the first sea ...

If Floris says enough

-
There is nothing to do, is stronger than him: Berlusconi sometimes feel the need and compulsion to pick up the phone call Ballarò. And so did last night. Usually the script is divided into these simple steps: 1) Floris announces the call to Berlusconi after the publicity, 2) enter into direct Berlusconi and complains of the transmission 3) Berlusconi asked to respond, 4) Floris I admit, as long as after you agree to answer some questions; 5) Berlusconi accepts and begins to rant on more and less, with no intention of stopping; 6) Floris try in vain to stop, or to invite him to conclude; 7) Berlusconi, angered, insulted and Floris transmission; 8) Berlusconi hangs up the phone; 9) Floris, left-to-mouth dry, run a few little touch on the rudeness of Berlusconi. But yesterday evening not.
Last night things went differently. Likely to demand "Good evening, Silvio Berlusconi and I are in direct action" must be heard to answer, as happens in many call center operators, "Thanks, but we are not interested. Goodbye. " And if that was not, probably we went very close, hearing what he said Flores, who, tired of insults, he finally found the courage to respond in kind, at the end of the program: "Last particular: Silvio Berlusconi phoned But we had invited us. Then, after the last experience, we said that we expect him very happy in the studio next Tuesday. " Apart from that, you probably are just as likely to see as many there to see him in court, one thing is curious: Berlusconi calls whenever there is a guest in the studio Rosy Bindi. Be a coincidence, but between calls, jokes and insults, there arises a question: Is he her mysterious girlfriend? After all, "who rejects buy."

Congrats Message For Having Baby

Modernity and tradition in Thailand that has entered the future, taking with them beliefs Orchid House millenarian

The dark side of the "land of smiles." Modernity and tradition in Thailand and 'entry in the future, taking with him millennial beliefs

Alessio Di Fratticciola (written for The International Micropolis , 13/01/2011)

Bangkok - In late November, the "Land of Smiles" was shocked by a ' horrific discovery: some two thousand human fetuses of different weights and sizes hidden in a morgue in the heart of Bangkok. A strong smell had attracted the police to Wat Phai Ngern - or "Temple of the Bamboo Silver " - scene of the accident was found. The fetuses, locked in identical white plastic bags were hidden in a morgue where the bodies are usually kept waiting for cremation. A warm, Lieutenant Colonel Kanathud Musiganont police said that some fetuses had remained hidden in the house for even a year. Two months after the scandal, three people have been arrested, two undertakers, guilty of hiding the bodies, and an employee of a clinic for abortions, on charges of running a medical clinic without a license and to perform abortions, prohibited by law. The undertakers could be sentenced to a maximum of one year in prison, while an employee of the clinic could face up to five years.

NOT KILL - The case in Thailand was seen as a national disgrace, a public opinion that has defined "Medieval" law banning abortion procedure, forcing every year hundreds of thousands of women and girls to turn to expensive private clinics and not always professional. The Thai government, for its part, responded to the criticisms by promising to improve sex education among young people, but has continued to difendendere anti-abortion legislation. The reasons are understandable government in a kingdom where traditions are jealously guarded by a semi-divine monarch (Rajada) and obediently complied with by the masses, at least formally. In addition, the vast majority of the population follows the Theravada Buddhism - Or "way of the elders" - a current orthodoxy that is characterized by hard-line conservative for Sangha - the community of monks - whose primary focus is the study of sacred texts mnemonic and the passage of this tradition to posterity. The Sangha, which has a tremendous power of moral leadership on this nation of Southeast Asia, is dogmatically opposed to the liberalization of abortion, because the type of Buddhism prohibits killing. But while in the Thai company develops an abortion debate that does not differ too much from that found in many other countries in this story there is still a big question: why fetuses were hidden in the house for months and months without being buried or cremated?

MODERNITY 'AND TRADITION - To approach an explanation must overcome the image that emerges from Thailand glossy tourist guides or by an overnight fast at the most popular holiday destination and enter the heart of this company. Mai in Thailand as the theories of the Enlightenment prove incorrect. About how they had predicted that science and technology would have wiped out the beliefs and religions should try to get around the streets of Bangkok for . Children with laptop in hand will stop at stalls selling amulets, large displacement cars approach the sidewalk to buy handfuls of fried insects, distinguished gentlemen come in horoscope texts where libraries are on the same shelf of Bibles, Korans and manual business management. For years this nation has embraced modernity - nationalism, finance, skyscrapers, skytrain, fashion and mobile phones. But past the appearances and the most banal stereotypes, one realizes that the land of smile is also a land of ghosts and spirits , an enchanted place where paranormal and ancient beliefs are actually obvious and natural. This strong belief in the existence of spirits and cosmic energies influence every aspect of life of this people, from religious architecture, from politics to television, from advertising to the businesses. Nothing strange, then, that in deciding where and how to build a new building, an engineer is "assisted" by an expert of Chinese geomancy . Also natural that the inauguration of the building is accompanied by a religious ceremony and prayers of Monaco officiating. Discount practices in a country where every house or business is an altar for the spirits that provide daily food and gifts to attract good luck and appease the tormented souls who may wander in there. In Thailand even more important family decisions, or business, require access to a guess it is hard for a couple convolerà to the wedding if the stars will not be favorable.

ghosts, spirits, exorcists - Ghosts and spirits, in short, are alive and well in the daily life of Thais. Tales of tormented souls and ghosts are so popular that the cinema of horror films that cast does not seem to understand the crisis. Even in comic books for children ghosts are one of the most common themes. But in this country's spirits are not just stuff to laugh or innocent pastime. The vast majority of Thais believe in the existence of spirits and a good portion of them believed to have seen a few. The phenomenon is not restricted to farmers in rural areas, by contrast, even most of the capital's university students admit to fear the spirits, and almost all the people with whom I have broached the subject had a history experienced in the first person to tell . In the Thai cosmology there are a myriad of spirits, each with its own characteristic. Among the most famous: the Phi Am , spirits who sit on the liver of humans, during sleep, causing aches and pains, the Phi Braed , ghosts, giants, long dreaded because they are capable of killing the parents, the Phi Chamob , that infest the place of the jungle where a woman died, the Duat Leut Phi, like vampires who suck the blood of their victims, the Phi He , the spirits of women dying in childbirth, are regarded as particularly dangerous the You Phi, which infest the places where someone 'who died a violent or unnatural (often enter the body of the living and are driven with whips or exorcism), the Phi Hang Kra, a nocturnal spirit resembling a winged man, and without going too far, the Krasu Phi, one of the most popular and feared ghosts, always hungry human flesh and blood-thirsty, take the form of beautiful women and glides on its victims with its long dress that hides the lower part of the body, without legs dangling, and from which the intestine. To fight this endless array of creatures, there is a sort of Ghost Buster: The Mho Phi. These 'doctors of the spirits' employing techniques and practices differ depending on the spectrum that they face, some of them have become real celebrities and glorifying revered across the nation.

The second is for the 2002 fetuses, 7 is the number of the morgue where they were found and 27 was the first day of the ceremony in memory of the souls of aborted babies. They say invisible spiritual energy that emanates from the mortuary temple and makes those numbers particularly lucky.

BLACK MAGIC, SEX AND POWER - The answer to our question, however, has little to do with the transformation of the "temple of shame" to "market luck": the reason for which the fetuses were hidden in temple for months without being buried, could simply be hung on the necks of the faithful who attend the tempio.

BAMBINI MORTI CHE URLANO - In una delle cerimonie svoltesi nel Wat Phai Ngern per le anime dei bambini mai nati, una donna di mezza età con in braccio suo figlio mi ha spiegato che questi these offerings and rituals - repeated after 3, 7, 50 and 100 days after discovery of fetuses - are used to thank the thousands of spirits that still roam this place. "I dead children screaming at night, I heard them - I said shaking her baby to his chest, visibly worried - be appeased, can be dangerous."
